Firelighters start a blaze, and then burn up leaving nothing of themselves behind. It is our aim to start fires in peoples' hearts, and in their churches, so that the world is affected by radically-lived lives. Our aim is not to leave behind our own agenda or reputation, but only that of Jesus Christ.

MISSION PARTNERS

Over the past 22 years a student ministry led to missionaries and full time workers going out to different parts of the world to serve Christ both short-term and in longer term ministry (the longest term missionary has been out for 20 years). Firelighters is either their sole sending mission, or seeks to support another sending mission in providing pastoral and practical input to all those whom we have sent out.

THE TIDE COURSE

TIDE stands for Training In Discipleship and Evangelism. This is a course on Radical Discipleship, taught by Grace Turner. The course is now in 21 countries, and has been attended by small groups and done by large Churches. It is available on audio cassette, on video and on DVD.

PROJECTS

As a result of the ministry, we have started several mercy ministries, and have other projects which we are involved in financially or in terms of support and advice. Many of our Firelighters have their own projects, also, which seek to give practical help in parts of the world where it is most needed.
