Mark & Jo Nightingale

Mark & Jo NightingaleMark and Jo moved to Exeter in 2007 having been given the exciting opportunity to start a Young People's Network (ages 15-25) at Exeter Network Church (ENC), an Anglican Church plant that was then only 2 years old and growing rapidly. Mark also took on the role as Worship coordinator, to establish worship groups, encourage all aspects of music, leading worship and generally doing everything he loves involving music!

ENC is a church family firmly committed to communicating the gospel in a culturally relevant way through Network groups, which gather around an activity in order to draw in those on the fringe.

Essence, the 18-25s Network they head up, keeps growing. Currently they are really focusing on social action and mission and encouraging people to 'get their hands dirty' for God. Encomia worship team continues to serve ENC and the wider Church by seeking to facilitate worship that is God centered yet culturally relevant, whilst also attempting to explore the boundaries of charismatic worship.

Their baby son Theo was born in the early summer of 2009. Jo and Mark are adapting to life as parents and they love watching Theo grow and develop. During this time Jo especially has made some really good 'new mum' friends and contacts in the community.
